Looking to start playing the piano? Upgrading the instrument you already have? Unlike acoustic pianos, digital pianos are all different and can make it tricky to find the right one for you. Here are a few characteristics to look out for and a list of the best finds on Amazon:
88-Keys. Most modern-day pianos are designed to be full size. As a beginner pianist, you may not need to use all of them, but as you learn even in the early stages, you will come across pieces where you will need the full amount of keys.
Weighted Keys. This will help train for stability, accuracy, and strength. Acoustic pianos are weighted in relation to their own unique mechanisms and, for a digital piano, will help to feel like the real deal.
Touch Sensitivity. The amount of force placed on any key will allow the note to be played softer or louder at any volume. Some keyboards without this feature will cause your music to sound muddy, inarticulate, and even inexpressive.
Pedals. The damper pedal, also known as the pedal "to the right," is the one you will need most frequent. It will sustain the notes you play to create a more full, lengthier sound. If you notice that your keyboard did not come with one, most will have an adapter on the backside where you can attach one through a cable and be placed on the floor beneath you.
Bench. When you sit at any piano or keyboard, the standard height that you will want to sit at will be to have your elbows parallel to the top of the keys. Most benches are adjustable and are always better than an office chair!
Stand. If your keyboard does not come with a frame, you will want to have a stand to place it on instead of a table or a desk. Posture is extremely important and can cause injury (believe it or not!) if not taken care of properly. Most stands are also adjustable so that it will feel more fitted to you.

The sound mimics the vibrations of an acoustic piano, a system called Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM.) Bench and all three pedals are included.

This digital baby grand piano is perfect for any space. It may look like the typical grand piano, but it actually functions just like a full entertainment system. It is bluetooth capable and can connect to any device to be used as a sound system with It even connects to the internet where you can access piano lessons.
